We drive from Maturín or Mochima for about 3-4 hours to check in at our hotel nicely located in town. After that, you can experience on your own a visit to El Guacharo National Park and Alexander Von Humboldt Natural Monument for nearly 3 hours.
Take a taxi for about 8 minutes and get your ticket to enter the Monument; English speaking tour guides are available at no extra cost. Within the cave confines, shadows invade the dense humid forest and rocky edges of limestone formations, this cave declared a natural monument in 1975 is inhabited by the largest, known colony of Oilbirds (Guacharos) and is one of the natural wonders of Venezuela. Enjoy the local restaurants in Caripe at dinner time. Overnight included at local standard hotel.
Go for breakfast at local restaurants in town and explore the very pleasant and very easygoing town of Caripe located nearly half way between the Orinoco Delta and the Caribbean Sea at 1000 meters above the sea level. Our driver will collect you at 2pm to take you to your next destination.
